8K so far......

This morning I surpassed the 8000 shots fired mark since Nov. 1st when I received my first Vortex 4-12X Crossfire II scope. This scope is springer airgun rated tough per me. No question in my mind. Was shooting the newer 34 .22 this afternoon with the new Vortex. Some of my off hand targets needed paint so off I went for a touch up and photo shoot. Pictured targets are 7" saw blade and steel cup at 50 yds.....5" x 6" aluminum plate at 65 yds.....and the 125 yd. 10" fry pan. It was 55 F and dead calm all day. Whilst painting the pan standing in greasy mud my foot slipped out from under me and down I went. No picture of my messed up blue jeans and sweatshirt. Could you all hear me swearing? My wife sure did. The 34 was safely leaning against some brush.

I thought I heard some cussing today in the distance...LOL! Yes sir.....I'm a big fan of those Vortex scopes now myself. I agree seven08, they are more than up to the task of taking a springers recoil. Mine is doing a JAM UP job on my 34. I like them so much I got another one to mount on another rifle.

Seven08.....that 34 looks good with that Vortex on top of it!
