Prob the 700mm FX Smooth twist x barrel kit.. look on YouTube seems pretty good.. just wish it was for the crown too and not the impact x.. I like the looks of the crown better.

you and me both. I might have to try it on my Crown when things slow down at work. Just have not had time to put the 30 cal X on my Impact X, Just playing with the .25 cal Smooth twist when I have a little time off. The Impact X did not come with a X Smooth Twist Barrel but will ship when they come in.

Some people say they will fit.. even though a crown with a 700mm Barrel is going to look like a howitzer. I’m still messing with my war flex.. when I have the time to shoot.

I read or saw somewhere that the bigger gains from the 700mm barrel with be from using on the Impact because it's not a free floating barrel design like the Crown. It's more made for the Impact from what I gather.

That's what I just understood from a video on youtube from air gun depot.. too bad. I really don't like the looks of the impact.

I believe the impact has more barrel support to hold the longer barrel than the crown. I'm waiting to see more reviews on the 700mm barrel also

I don't understand all the fuss over useing the 700 on the Crown , its only 4 inches longer .Shorter than most ldc's that are popular . I really want to try it in .30 on my crown with 50 grn jsbs . Might just give it a try after I get my compressor .

There is no reason I can see why not. It will at the least give you more power or better shot count. You wonder if fx may not have even tried it.

I have had one for a couple of weeks. .25 shooting 34 grain JSB. 106 yard sub MOA. The original ST would shoot MOA. Maybe less fliers with the X. Only have one tin through it. Makes the gun longer with the fixed moderator. Was shooting the 34 grain at 840 fps on 5 with the ST. Changed to the X and it was over 900. Dialed back to 3 to get 850 and 880 at 4. So more shots per fill. Good luck. sylvan

I haven’t seen any feedback on the .30cal. Maybe there weren’t as many available? I have one on order but it will be months.

Odd we haven’t heard from anyone then. I’ve seen a few giving info on the .25cal. I suppose.25 is a more popular caliber. If I was in the US I’d grab a .30 cal. Appreciated your feedback Keyman. I think you’d enjoy a .30 cal.....
