60FPE with my .22 Kral PB!

So I really wanted to get the maximum power out of my puncher breaker, I sent it to Troy a year ago and I think it came back shooting RD Monsters at about 860 for about 30 shots. I really only need one mag for hunting so I've been tuning it little by little. I took a lot more metal out of the valve; opened up and sloped the valve stem tube and shaved a few hundreths of an inch off the tube so the valve stem could travel farther, turned down the valve stem then changed it out for a stock replacement and modified that one quite a bit (not shown), dremeled out the transfer port on the valve with a steep angle from the inside out and opened up the TP all the way from the valve to the barrel to about .188 and oveled it some, then I bought a longer barrel from a Kral Knight (a few inches longer to 22.8"), it has the dual spring hammer, polished all the contact parts glassy, still need to polish new barrel, opened up the valve tube screw cap on the back of the valve with a steep slope.

Today I took one shot with 170bar in the tank and it shot a RD monster at 1030fps! Psyched as this guns shoots slugs really well. Litterally haven't had time to even take a second shot let alone a shot string or accuracy tests. I'll probably back the HST screw out a few turns and shoot some 24gr slugs at 50FPE for a mag or two, man if I can get 24 shots at a consistent 50FPE.. ugh, that would be a success for me (a hack of a tuner..) More to follow, just wanted to share some excitement.

Nice work, looking at the ChairGun pic... I'm wondering where the system got that BC from?

Ps. The screen shot is my RAW HM1000x .25cal

So I'm shooting the 25.39gr JSB's in .22 (Redesigned Monsters) which I believe are about a .44-.46BC at 940-960fps, I just plugged in the weight and velocity to find the energy but the BC listing was from a slug or something random, definitely not a pellet of any kind. I definitely don't think i'd shoot them that hot but I know Gregor (sp?) was shooting the .22 RD monsters at EBR this year extremely accurate out of the profit at 980fps out to 100yds. He was tuned to 180bar though I think! before my previous tuning the gun was shooting all shots at a consistent velocity until it fell below 150/155bar - my gun is not regged but shoots like one, but I would never be able to get this power at 150bar with a regulator, at least from what I'm told/reading.

Hey Wag, just ran the math on comparison and my .22 compared to your .25 number shows that I retain exactly DOUBLE the energy at 100yds!! I'm at 44.6FPE when your .25 is at 22.3FPE and my bullet would stay 6.5" higher than yours at POI. Obviously seems like bragging, not my intent but man, seems like a obvious choice.

Your BC seems to be over 2x too good.

Not sure where youre getting a slug BC for a pellet.

Oh good catch..! I do shoot slugs at this BC (at least i think so) but it's more like the below, still 40FPE at target when starting out at 55FPE though!

You still have the BC at .103. Change it to .038 then see what the numbers are. (They will change back to reality)

Heres an 18.1gr @970 starts at 38fpe ends at 18fpe at 100y.

I don't shoot anything with a .38 BC anymore, other than my Streamline that only shoots pellets... This gun shoots slugs primarily, sometimes RD monsters but those are shooting at least .045, as stated though, the 27gr slugs shooting at 960 should be, from what i read are at .103.

Yeah that makes sense, sorry i saw that jsb exact up top there was throwing me off.
