Shot the rat and pigeon off of the grain pile at 42 yards .Black birds came off the tree using 18.1 JBS pellets out of the WC.

Did you eat them? As a teen I used to kill black birds, pigeon, Robin, bluejay, sparrow, woodpecker, and my mom said eat what you kill so I clean them and cook them. They are good eating. I season them with salt, black pepper, and hot peppers, and roost them in the over till they turn yellowish/brownish. Don't over cook them. They aren't big like chicken so they get burnt easy.
