580cc for FX bottle guns

think they look great 

I love the idea of increased capacity! I saw a 1000cc bottle with the same diameter and threads about a year ago on Ali Express but have not been able to find it again since. I would much rather see these longer single bottles than the double bottle setups that have been added to the Impacts recently. Many if not most of these are capable of 4500 psi. If we had regulators that would work at those pressures we could get a LOT more shots.

So looks like it's an INOCOM bottle (www.inocom21.com) made in korea, same company as the 480cc used by FX and Daystate.

Personally I prefer the 500cc bottle, the finish is nicer and it's pretty much perfectly round, I can get the 500cc bottle complete with FX valve installed in the UK for just over $200.

Its negligable in FAC, only 4% more capacity, but when you consider in 12FPE format you get over 500 shots anyways.

For me it's more cosmetic, plus the diameter is ever so slightly smaller, so a slightly bigger gap on the Crown.

Lastly as I said it's 1/3 cheaper than the FX bottle.

How many more shot does the 580cc give in .25 Cal? My impact stock 480cc gives about 78 shots with 34gr heavy 850-860fps. Would it be possible to hit 100 shots per fill with the 580cc? 

Those Best Fittings Inocom 500 cc bottles are pretty looking but so are the Acecare from Aliexpress. The problem is neither one is DOT approved for USA usage. I don’t think the DOT police are going to catch you, I use a Acecare 500 cc bottle myself. I also couldn’t resist one of those 580 cc DOT tanks from Tony, now one of my bottle guns is legal, lol. DOT certification is the reason they cost more.

The Best fittings ones are from ACECARE, but as they buy so many it's cheaper than self importing. I imported my own 12L 300 BAR (127-CUFT) because the demand is too low to make them worthwhile importing to re-sell.

SCBA tanks seem to be very expensive in the USA, this is because of the DOT you say?

Yes, I think the testing and certification for DOT approval is why the cost of DOT tanks are so expensive, even DOT tanks from Aliexpress. I did order my Acecare 500 cc from Aliexpress and it was $98:00 USD from China. It took about three weeks to arrive in the US. I see that they are more money now. I do not use a valve in my tank like FX does. Bottle adapter straight into drop block.

What is the length and diameter of the 580cc bottle and the 500cc bottle without the valve only the bottle

Here is my FX 400 with a 580cc bottle that AOA installed for me while I waited in the showroom. I think the neck might be a little different than the 480cc bottle as they had to alter the stock slightly and move the moderator forward a little. It is about 2in. longer than a standard 400.
