Yesterday I just point my gun up and take pic through scope. Bunch of replies saying scope is whack out of position. I'm like no its not.
So just a little bit ago I take my hawk 6.5 5-20x42IRSF mounted on my Cricket .22 and shoot. There are my results.

Not too shabby, nice shooting. I think the camera angle can play games with the picture. The photo is a 2-D picture of a 3-D object.

It is just a regular flat piece of paper I shot at. Yes, when the shot hits paper it leaves the paper sticking out the back. So when I'm done I lay it on ground and took pic.

I was refering to the photograph of the gun and scope. The gun and scope are in 3-D but and when captured to the 2-d picture, the line angle could have been distorted. When my assitants are taking an x-ray of the tooth they have to be sure the x-ray beam is perpendicular to the tooth and film sensor or the image will be distorted. Depending on the angle it can be either elongated or shorted. I believe the angle of the camera to the gun and scope could have distorted the appearance of the picture. This would give the "appearance" that the scope was not mounted correctly. Same thing with the shot pictures. (Sorry that was a mouthful). Anyways, your gun is shooting straight that is the main thing! Hope this shed some light on the picture of your scope.

Here are some of my results with a .25 Cricket at 34yds and 44 yds this morning. Parallax in my AEON scope can easily vary 1/4". Wanting all of them to look like that one hole 34 yd group
