40 shots at 40fpe from a Mrod? Regulated even?!

Believe it guys a few of us have undertaken this challenge and so far 3 have done it on a stock air tube! I have a .25 Synrod with 22" TJs barrel. Internals are Huma regulator with a hogged out hill gauge port and a hill valve with light valve spring. Lightweight hammer SSG and .162 TP. Got 40 shots at 853avg on regulation! After that got 8 more shots down to 830. Reg is set at 1950psi and filled to 3200psi for the test. There's a thread that might be worth checking out if anyone is interested

Dairyboy I just read the post over on GTA and tried to take in and understand the mods and charts shown. All the results were very impressive. In your case how much did you spend on parts to get your final regulated tune. Bill

What is your spread? I have a bone stock .25 Gen2 that I tuned with o-rings. I'm getting 32 shots from 3000 psi to 2100 psi, Avg 826 fps with 25.4gr JSB for 38.5 fpe with a spread of 30 fps. Now that winter is starting to set in and I'm just about done with my 1322 for hunting, I'm going to attempt to improve this tune.

On regulation it's only about 15fps spread. This is my first tune with it.

On how much I spent well not that much because I bought the gun used with everything except the LW hammer I had from another gun. So for me $500 for the gun regulated with SSG. I added a TJ barrel I got for $165. So not much to me. New everything aftermarket would have cost $400??? Not sure exactly
