3d Printed FX .22 Magazine FILES AVAILABLE

"Hynzie"thank you how would i make it for 30 cal

Uploaded the .30 cal mag files. Hopefully I'll get the .25 and .177 cal versions up soon.

Since I've been asked for a version in every caliber, I guess I'll have to try and get some different versions drafted. A few things you should note is that I have no calibers other than .22 so I can't do any testing to tweek it myself. If you print it and something is off, someone will have to let me know. Also, remember that I designed the .22 follower a tiny bit oversized so you could sand/file it smooth and you should have to do the same on the other calibers.

"bigben11"How much are your .22 cal magazines? Can you do this for the Crown also?
Aren't the Impact and Crown magazines the same?

I keep saying I don't want to sell these but since I've been asked about a dozen times now... I don't really have time to finish and test these, but I guess I might sell a kit if there was interest. Also, if someone else here wanted to sell them I'd have no problem with it, in fact, I'd prefer that.

3D printed parts can have slight variations that may require sanding and/or polishing to make it work and fit. That's where the bulk of the time and effort takes place. As well, 3D parts are typically not as strong as the injection molded original pieces.

I tried making a magazine for my Steyr Hunting 5A, and although it worked my POI would change every few shots (and between magazines).

Still though, those of us that enjoy making our own will greatly appreciate the OPs effort and willingness to share his design! Looking forward to the .25 magazine!

OP: what software did you use to design this? Would it be possible to get the design files?

thanks!

177 files available. Again, I don't have a way to test these since all I have is a 22. I'm having to make some estimations so they may not work. If they need significant tweaking, let me know.

czar - I use Autodesk Inventor for my designing and Simplify3D for the slicing. If you can use those just PM me your email and I'll send them.

bigben11 - You reminded me of why I didn't want to sell them in the first place. I don't want to deal with the haggling and all the unpleasantness involved. Hopefully some entrepreneurial individual here will pick it up.

.25 cal files in the works
