397c (carbine) ... really ?

.... kinda disappointed after i got into a largely unused benjamin 397 carbine - made when benjamin , sheridan , sterling were conglomerate just as crosman acquired them (circa 1990-2).... ive always wanted one , too , maybe that's why im dismayed with the barrel separation common with these hard clamped rear sights on sheridans , the difficulty in getting the 3" shorter pump arm to act right perhaps due to the leaf spring being in there too hard ... and the then narrow , unasthetic stock.... is anyone else dismayed with the only rocker safety .177 (and only benji carbine) i have heard produced ?? this is the fist first 397c i have ever handled .. this is the first one ive encountered , and i see alots of benjis and dans.. it's been more elusive than the model 87 , which supremely satisfied. follow up from this post. - paul,. https://www.airgunnation.com/topic/397p-series-397p-397s-397c/

............. the 392's ive had are more powerful , but im talking about that 392 - has safety in the back (tang safety). but the other later 392pa (with safety on the trigger guard) were not accurate..... the 392pa is a bigger more sturdy gun - but the barrels really tumped... i took three or four back to academy where they were $140.... i finally gave up. i have never had an acp benji pumper. i remember hearing alot about them - but maybe before that guy became incorporated or what ever happened to pyramyd --- i mean ag's of az ... look , they have a mark 2 version now.... https://www.airgunsofarizona.com/BenjaminACP.htm
