i like it . ....or.... " i like the way it looks ." i hope the stock is a solid and durable plastic (and not too hollow). we KNOW nobody is gonna pay $250, tho. - raneman .

. i wonder if the webley rebels are more sturdy - and more secure in the barrel area ? i remember when legacy sports in nev let me sell those before webley fully materialized there . seems i went thru about 100 of those - all .177. they were badged as 'puma' innova and the box said made in indonesia, i think. they guy i was in contact with at legacy remembered going thru that whole pallet and somehow fixing the faulty triggers. they were backstock that they wanted to rid of. i think i paid $40-50 each for them.....but , man o man ! i hated the idea of pumping a lot of time for one shot , so i sure didnt like pumpers then. i think where the plastic receiver or housing for the dump valve is encased was brass or steel on the japanese sharp innovas - thus , one could pump unlimited . the (1985?) shooters bible stated 1000 fps and number of pumps unlimited. mustve been 1985 and as a 14 yr old kid , i was amazed at that. never thought i would see one (still have never shot any sharp pumpers). when i tried pumping 12 or more times with those more recent plastic ones, eventually the pressure would crack that plastic , but 940 fps was achievable. the airgunners LOVED them ! (i could never figure that out ten years ago.) it was advised for me to use them as a novelty or bonus gift , but they ended up taking over. sold one or two daily for $90 shipped. what was strange , tho, was that when i took some apart - some of the brass parts said 'sharp' on them. i finally scoped and kept one and just used it on 6 pumps where it would get around 750 with premiers. i tried screwing silencers onto their threads, but it was never very accurate because it was plastic and two halves coming together there at the muzzle. the barrel inside kinda moved around inside like a crosman 2200 , too. i wonder if webley is still selling those here in the u.s. ? i spoke with lecacy sports when i found the backstock of liquidated .20 webley vmx rifles , and they said they'd be happy if they never saw an airgun again . i think they were only planning to sell .177 and .22 vmx rifles and one or two pistols. -- one thing is for certain - americans will always love pumpers . we need a modern silenced version with scope rail. - raneman. 

could you imagine how much a sharp ace would cost us , tho ? some guys looked into reproducing the sheridan supergrade rifles , and after seeing it was gonna have to sell for around $2000 , they gave up... someone above mentioned just using parts that are interchangeable - like 13xx and 22xx and disco parts - and yes , bring back .20 !!! just run some 24" 5mm barrels off for a day or two at crosman - barrels with 7/16" od .... we could do the rest . .

. crosman does have engineers . . . (believe it or not).... and if you were on the phone with mr tim at mac1 and mentioned anything about crosman (especially since they bought out benjamin and sheridan) - you would sure get an ear full... -- but to be fair , one time those engineers got it right.....when they made the dicso from the 2260 platform , thus making pcp airguns a reality for bluecollar-types like me.
