34mm rings?

JoeWayneRheaOK Marksman ....Spill it !!! What kinda SuperSpy scope setup you got coming ??!!!

Im afraid if I tell..........too many will think Im a douchbag or something. I will say this tho. Good optics dont come and go like guns. Money spent on good optics....in my opinion.....is money well spent. You probably have an idea already Joe.....its your second guess....Im reading your mind.
All I can say is this.......dont ever look through a kowa tsn-883 with prominar 25-60X wide angle eyepiece. Finest Japan has to offer. Japan glass is stunning. Pure flourite crystal throughout. 5 years ago I made the mistake of looking through one. I bought one within the year. Still have it. Use it often. Never regretted for a second to this day. Still takes my breath away when I look through it....never gets old. Never.

JoeWayneRheaWell he has all PCP rifles for now ... By I'm gonna convert him

We shall see soon enough!!! Honestly.....there is room/need in my stable for both. Today I was shooting grackels and sparrows at 70 yards in the top of a pine tree. I love taking the longer shots and using my rangefinder.....doping the wind etc. But.....my wolverine is too powerful for the rats in the barn. I could use a low power .177 accurate springer for sure around the farm.

GoodtogoBack to the OP question. About everyone carries those. Just Google 34mm scope rings and if you don't want to run adapter on your rail? http://www.kelbly.com/scope-rings

Thank you......I might need the 34mm rings depending on what scope I get. Right now Im undecided but Joe knows how I feel about good glass. Looking at swfa hd, nightforce, kahles, s&b pm2, meopta, and march. Undecided on ffp vs sfp. I had a Burris xtr2 4-20 ffp scope that was awesome...but the parallax only went down to 50 yards. I will probably go for the ffp in whatever I buy tho. Just need to do some homework. My holy grail scope is the march 8-80X56. Probably wont do that tho.....at 80X I bet there arent even enough mil dots for holdover past 70 yards due to being zoomed in so much.

"Erik"The 8-80 is FFP? Holy crap. Anyways someone who looked through it Said to Me that at 80x it was still better than anything else he ever owned lol.

Yep. They are insanely good. And ridiculously expensive too.
Small correction, the 8-80 is SFP :) The 5-40 March is FFP.
If you like high magnification and FFP, you might also consider the PMII 12-50x56. 10 metres parallax, and available in SFP and FFP.
As for 11mm dovetail scope mounts, the choice is very limited. I milled an adapter for my piccatinny ERA TAC 1 piece 34mm mount, which clamps on any 11mm dovetail

Thanks. This is true. I was researching last night trying to find out if the 8-80 march was ffp or sfp. The specs I was finding didnt say one way or the other. I was left assuming it was sfp due to pics of 80X zoomed in crosshairs. They were too fine for me to believe it was a ffp scope. The 8x80 march is off my list at this point. The 5-40 march is a contender for sure.

Its gunna be a march 3-24X42 ffp FML-1 reticle scope. Its small, light, focuses down to 8 meters, perfect tracking. Should be a sick as tits little scope. Guess I wont need the 34mm rings after all. I might get the same scope with the 52mm objective....still light weight but should give better resolving power and a more comfortable eyebox at 24 power. Gives a 2.16mm exit pupil vs a 1.75mm exit pupil on 24 power....better light gathering too. The 5-40 march is heavier and longer, and perhaps a little overkill for my needs in magnification. Ive made up my mind.

Hell yeah, FFP and with that range of focus... absolutely great choice, I´d say. And 42 mm should be more than sufficient for good light gathering.

You chose the Mrad version for easier ranging and adjustments, I suppose?

I really love the FML-1 reticle. It´s very similar to the MH10 which I have in my Optisan EVX.

I think the only bad thing on your scope is the price :) 2000+ OMG.
