Got out to 100 yards today with the big Eddy. All are 5-shot groups with the NSA 47.2 gr at 920 fps. The smallest group was .72” ctc.

That’s one L O N G Eddy... great shooting. That big dog probably isn’t even breathing hard at that power level.

You should finalize the purchase...My R5 classic shoots as accurate as this Super Long (at a lower speed of course).
Plus (and this is a big plus) it is one of the most rugged airguns I've ever owned!

Gotta love that! Nice shooting! 920fps with the 47.2gr. really is a beast! Where is the regulator set? I wish Ed would make a .30 long with a magazine. I think it would be a huge seller. I talked to him the other day and he does not give up any info about what the future holds, EVER! Lol Great guy though and he knows how to make air guns!

Thanks guys. Conditions were good. Just 3-4 mph wind. The reg is set to 140 bar. I’m just shooting slugs from her nowadays but she shoots 44.75s at 980 fps and 50.15s at 935 fps.
I understand why some of y’all wish Ed would make more of these R5s. In reality though, if Ed makes more, it would diminish the value and premise of the numbered limited editions out there. I don’t think he would do that.

I am so Glad I kept mine I just needed time to learn the gun a little better lol. It was my first Ed-Gun I have The r 5 in .25 The fellow I got it from called it a supermagnum Not sure if that is correct or it is just a super long haha and it has been awesome. They are definitely a hammer for sure. Very nice shooting there my best has been 1.23- 1.5 inches but I don't shoot as well as some.
