.30 Impact max FPS

Airgun Depot site has it rated at 870 FPS if that’s true your in the neighborhood. 

What reg pressure? My .30 Bobcat gets just over 900 fps with 165 bar. But it’s an air hog at that speed so I shoot it at about 885 fps. 

That's a good number. Mine is illin' just doing 740 fps.
I've seen 870, but it didn't last long.

Mine does 840 with the reg set at 150bar. 810 with the 50 grain pellets.

That’s very good for a 140 reg pressure. Most FX .30s like the Boss and Bobcat are factory set about 160 bar. 

How many shots per fill are you guys getting?

On the .30 Bobcat at 885 fps I’m getting 4 mags (36 shots) from 250 bar to 165 bar. 

On my Impact with the 50.15 grain JSB's I am only getting 760 FPS, everything on max settings. (also the valve thing above the bottle), already tried the Ernest power wheel screw fix, does not help anything. 760 FPS is my max

Try opening up your transfer port holes that should get more velocity at a lower reg setting.
well it does on my .25 impact

mrdirect, that is a low setting for an FX .30 cal rifle with 50.1 JSB. The velocity on the 50.1 should be about 35 to 40 fps lower than what you get with your 44.75 JSB. So for my .30 Bobcat, with the 44.75s at 885 fps, my 50.1s fly at 850 fps.

With everything maxed out, and the reg set to 143 bar (with a digital meter), I average 867 fps with 44.75 JSB, and 835 fps with 50.15 JSB.

i have seen 1 impact that had +5 fps or something over mine so its close to what it should without mods.

Concur. The only way (without physical modifications like enlarged transfer port or power plenum) to increase velocity above the posts from 13brv3 and gixxer3000 is to raise the reg. pressure. Of course that will increase fps, but decrease shot count. You might think the 50.1 is too slow, but at longer distances, due to the much better BC, the drop is equal to or less than the 44.75 at 40 fps higher.

If you increase the pressure on the regulator be carful that the adjustment screw goes no higher than being flush with the surrounding surface if you do take it out too much the air pressure will abrade the oring with the threads causing a leak.

My crown .30 is set at 150 bar and gets about 40 shots at 860 or so. I am happy with it so far.

I'm flinging 50gr at 810-820. Tried the power wheel adjustment, it got another 10fps, but wasted a lot of air. I turned it down to 4 and shoot it.

Thinking about sending it to Ernest, but that is shipping my baby...
