Inherited this from my dad and was going through his things and found the old invoice for the gun thought some of you might get a kick out of it.
shows what happens when you buy good stuff to begin with. 1988 - that's between my kids, 1 in 87, 2 in 89 (twins). Yes, we had 3 under 2 years old.
Good groupings to boot. Looks like 3 could be covered by a dime, the other two by a nickel. Good shooting

Nice to see you kept one, Dave! That stock looks to have some nice figure on the butt.
I bought mine used in 1984-cost me the princely sum of $200, lot of money back then, especially for "just a pellet gun", LOL!

awesome gun. always wanted this one growing up fr my collection. the 55 is a real gem. a break barrel made for accuracy

Wow! That's a treasure. Amazing how accurate it is! Definitely worth keeping with the paperwork, it could be a multi generational heirloom? Who knows, maybe 300 years from now, your great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandkids will be in the backyard (on moon base? Lol) shooting their star-wars-like phazers, and one of them will pull this out of a dusty, old force-field locker? They'll be like, 
"Whoooah! Cool! Let's shoot THAT, instead?"
And it might still be shooting quite well?
