.25 Marauder low power tune

"ajshoots"I am simply using a 12.5lb hammer spring with zero preload. I order these in bulk from Mcmaster Carr. They are slightly longer and larger wire diameter than stock. My thought in this is simple. I feel a free flowing valve has alot more to offer than a restricted one. You can always restrict the transfer port. The reason behind the heavy spring is simply for hammer bounce.

Do you recall the McMaster Carr part number for the 12# spring?

Setup at 16 yards this morning to make final scope adjustments then shot a few groups. Moved to 40 yards and then to 60.

Shooting 25gr kings at 800fps, this thing is pretty damn accurate from 16-60 yards. Always amazes me how such an inexpensive gun can be polished into such an affordable accurate rig!!

This morning has been perfect shooting weather. 68, sunny, and just a slight breeze. Was able to get a good look at pellet flight out to 60 with no visible signs of spiraling. All pellets were sized to .250".

I don't need another .25 and should sell it, but I think it's gonna stay!!
