25 JSB Heavies out of a Vulcan

Has anyone shot the new heavies out of a Vulcan yet? Interested to see how they done. So far I have only shot the 25.4 and they shoot them perfect. Today my grandson hit a sparrow at 72.5 yds lazered and we hit a coke can at 107yds several times, off a golf cart. This 25cal Vulcan I got from Peter at TAG is one bad boy. Everyone that has shot it can,t believe how a gun so little can be so quiet and shoot so good. I can't believe it. Thanks Peter.

The heavies do you have a substantially higher BC. At 50 yards they have the same POI for me as well. My cricket love them. I am getting 5 shot groups at 50 yards of .07" CTC. With my current weather conditions, hot, humid, and just above sea level, the BC over two cronograhs for 50 yards comes out to .0500 GA BC. The king lites come in at .032 GA BC. The cricket is shooting the lites at 975 fps and the heavies at 880 fps.

"airkrazy"Well my friend ran some thru his today and came in at 840-850. At 50 yrds it baffles us that the poi did not change from the 25gr.

You may find interest in this review I did earlier on:
http://www.network54.com/Forum/79537/message/1433136252/Heavy+JSB+Kings+-+BC+derived+and+compared+to+the+lighter+originals

Note that with a 781 fps start the heavy reached 75 yards with 662 fps, the light started at 899 and was down to 688 at 75 yards.
So with 118 fps faster start the light pellet had only 26 fps advantage after 75 yards.
The relative drag coefficients tell the story. when the pellets are shot from the same rifle tune.

This one is back about 10 pages here now:
