.25 Caliber Lead Free Pellets

Seems like there is an older thread about this. It was great to see how politely people responded here on airgunnation regarding the sometimes polarizing question of lead alternatives. It would be interesting to hear the latest, hoping higher velocity accuracy has improved.

As an aside, I emailed JSB (schulzdiabolo.cz) last week to inquire about .30 lead free pellets in the future. The person politely responded that they are working on a lead free .30 caliber and were testing in FX rifles. ( I mentioned that I was interested in a .30 FX, for compatibility, but now consider .25 a more practical choice).

The GTO's shoot great below 900fps velocities but at long range are more affected by winds. I like them for their less energy on impact. The leads carry more energy than needed for most of my pesting experience, Bill.

I've shot some of the GTOs in .25 just punching paper but shot very well from a smooth twist for me.

Tried them in my Streamline. They shoot fast, but best groups were achieved on lower power setting. Great for close range bird pesting or target shooting.

Still looking for one of the US suppliers to import JSB Exacts Lead free.

Isn't that the goal - To have something everyone wants and nobody else has?
