Beeman Kodiak or Beeman Rx 2 I have an rx 2 in 22 cal love it . But is it good in 25 cal ? No experience with any patriot or Kodiak . I’m just wondering would the bigger cal. Be a better choice for coyotes any suggestions are appreciated .

Yes get a very powerful PCP. I doubt that a coyote will let you get close enough for a 30 fpe springer to be effective.

Depending on your location I guess....
In some suburbs the coyotes are not afraid of humans and I took 3 and 1 bobcat with a .25 cal B28 at about 25yds while I was living in Florida! But in most cases black diesel is right and anything past that distance you should use a more powerful PCP to ensure a good shot placement and a clean kill....
Hatsan .30 cal is a real beast of a springer too...well gas ram but same concept!

We have called coyotes in within a couple feet out in the desert . But I usually miss them when there that close because I’m still totally shocked they get that close . So I’m buying a 25 cal. Marauder from a guy on this forum . Soon as I get home from central Idaho .I can’t wait I’m 50 years old and I feel like a little kid at Christmas .
