I was playing around yesterday with a few .25 cal. slugs. Actually got that one over .760". That's funny.
Just for fun, and possible usefulness with stock PCP's and extreme long range with a 75 FPE gun I have.
I decided to see what I could get them to do. A few cuts before swagging them.
It's just my slug made to a pre-fragment style that would deliver serious expansion way down range.
38.1gr. slug shot from a .25 cal. at 938 FPS with different alterations for more or less expansion. Far right one unaltered.
Test medium and range not relevant.
Just looking at test results for a "working" HP intended for extreme long range.
Might have promise.
