Tuning .25 avenger

There were some issues on some where the hammer spring would catch internally. Seems to me, that there is a round snap ring that does not always seat properly and causes a bind on the hammer spring. I will see if I can find the link.

Have not found the link yet. Mine has a total adjustment of about 5 turns on the hammer spring. Others only have 3 turns due to the snap ring hanging up.

I've seen others with this problem too. See what it does all the way cranked in on hammer and then all the way out. Should tell you if you need to crack it open or not. Mine seemed like way too much when I first got it. I put max tension on it for a couple of days without shooting it then backed it off and it was much better. Don't know if it released it from catching or just broke in the spring a bit. I have since tore it down and all seemed normal.

I did the same, turned it in all the way and then backed it out. seems to be better.
