Has anyone seen one of these yet? I’m undecided on the electric system that manages this gun. Based on initial feedback of the Pulsar I’m taking a wait and see attitude.

It’s not really and “Extreme” in in terms of performance since it’s shooting around 48 fpe which is middle of the road for most .25 cal PCP airguns. However, it’s nice to see Daystate offering an electronic .25 with a carbon fiber bottle to boot.
I don’t understand why Daystate didn’t opt to release an electronic .25 based on the Wolverine platform. In addition, why would the use the older MCT instead of the newer GCU such as that found in the Pulsar?

That may have changed with the new pulsars electronics though??

It is the longer barrel that grants the higher energy. It appears that the barrels are the same variety found on the air ranger extreme. Based on the results with the 31 gr barracudas, jab kings should be flying at 900-920 fps.
I ordered one.

Do you have any links re’ initial feedback on the Pulsar ? I’ve done a quick search on this forum and can’t find any.

Previously the steel bottle version without Huggett was listed for $2598. The Huggett was an additional 375 and a fiber bottle was also an additional 350.That is almost a bargain priced Daystate. The Huggett was an additional 375 and a fiber bottle was also an additional 350.Oddly enough, I opted to have the carbon bottle swapped out for an aluminum 500cc. With this gun, I wanted the extra weight. It is a benchrest specialist with a “super sniper” look to it. No one buys this thing to walk through the woods ;). So, since I KNOW that I will be married to a table every time I shoot it, I actually would prefer it to be heavier. I also would love to have it in an Airwolf tactical (black, soft-touch) stock, but it is only available in walnut.

Now, how on earth would I know that before I shoot it?
The 34gr .25’s definitely have the community’s attention right now. Pyamydair has had my “pre-order” in their computer since they first put them up on the site. If they have the accuracy and BC of the .30’s, I would likely make the move, since it would grant 30-50% more shots per fill (I hate filling on the line in competitions).

If it isn’t too late, I’ll swap you my 500cc bottle off my Air Wolf Tactical for the carbon fiber bottle off your Extreme. I’ll even throw in $75. If AOA hasn’t shipped it yet, I can even drive down there and have them swap it out. Just let me know.

TeD, how many Airguns do you have ? Maybe we should run a competition and the first one who guesses should be given a prize

I was unable to find any reviews on this rifle but I bought it trusting it will serve my purposes and be as advertised by DayState.
