232 DIN to Foster Adapter

I’m not sure if the BSP is BSPP or BSPT, or if it matters. Can you tell from looking at them if these would work together? Also, would I need to add a male foster to male foster adapter before it can charge the Thomas? I’m not sure if the Thimas has a male or female foster charging port.

Well I guess I really need help when I can’t tell the difference between a male and female valve.
