.22 JSB 25.9 (not the redesigns)

Does anyone have reports of good accuracy with these? Gun, fps, etc. would be interesting to hear.

I'm talking about the straightwalled ones that look like a 10.34gr JSB in .177. The .177 10.34 are pretty impressive out of my field target gun (poly barrel) and I've gotten them up to 950fps without losing accuracy (yes, that's over 20fpe and I brought it back down after the experimentation).

They seem like a good looking pellet but I think I remember lots of people not being too impressed with them.

Ah, my mom taught me if I don’t have something nice to say...

I will simply say whatever it is about the 10.34gr that makes it do so well in so many different guns, it did not carry over into the .22.

I tried them. Worst 2 things is easily bent skirts. Don’t IMO try unless you have a barrel that engraves rifling on them, powerful enough to test at fast through too fast. Lubed in Condor 24” .22 they’re cool. Anything else I’ve tried I’d rather tape tin together & throw like hockey puck

I tried them in my Red Wolf , I thought that the barrel was broken , luckily it was just the pellets , Shocking things . The RD's are totally bang on , the old ones are shocking to say the least . I still have ten tins left ... not sure what to do with them as it goes ??

At close ranges they are good but i trie at 100 to 140 meters and they are dangerouse at this distance

Some hit the point some are more meters from point of aim

The beast are wörser at longrange they can impact 30 meters from aimpoint

They must start spiraling somewhere at they flightpath

At 30 meters they are accurate and hard hitters

I haven't been able to shoot them straight in any of my pcp at any speed.

Worst pellets I've ever tried from multiple very accurate PCPs. The redesigned are 100 times better

I agree with everyone’s opinion, they wouldn’t shoot in my Red Wolf at all, Redesigns work very well, 34’s don’t work for me either! To slowly out of my gun I think? Maybe the new safari will shoot the 34’s?

Had a chance to try them out this weekend.

Gun used is a .22 Veteran, Short. I usually keep it at 20fpe but cranked it up for this experiment. Turned the hammer spring adjust in two full revolutions to get 775fps for about 34fpe. The pellets were stacking at 30 yards. And a pickup truck would have been safe at 119 yards. The natural lighting worked out for me to see the pellets in flight and they were doing crazy things. They would spiral or climb or dive or dodge right or left. Jorgo commented that they're not safe at longer distances and I agree, just no confidence that they're not going to hit something 50feet to the left or right of what you're shooting at.

It was completely the pellets too because I shredded a normal sized soup can at the same 119 yards with the JSB 18.1 and 13.43.

So, same results for me that most posted about. I could see their use for killing a problem critter at 30 yards or less, but have zero plans of shooting any more of them.

They shot "ok" out of my Lelya. I agree with JamesD - the skirts bend way too easily, and I just don't like them.

The RDs were FAR more consistent for me though, ao mich so that I was dinging an 8" steel target 122m away off-hand in 25-40mph winds coming from my 4 o'clock around 6-7 out of 10 shots
