2019 American Air Arms Slayer - Whoa!!

Yea the EVOL is killer. I have one in .30 cal on order. When I get it, I’ll probably sell my .30 RAW. They’re both amazing, USA made rifles, but AAA is on a higher level in some ways. I can’t wait to see if they start offering the EVOL in a similar stock as this Slayer. My EVOL is from a batch of 40 rifles that are just finishing up and are ALL spoken for. I believe Slayer production is going into full swing now. Their communication still kind of sucks, but they’re working on that.. Also ramped up production to shorten delivery times, fwiw.

Lots of Michiganders in here! I’m SE (Milford/Highland). James / Chuckhunter, I’m waiting on an EVOL Tac .30 with the adjustable PRS butt stock. Not sure if they’re taking orders for the wood version yet. I’d love to see an EVOL in the new thumbhole stock in American Walnut, it’d be gorgeous. 

nomojo65 Big-bores aren’t for everyone. If Michigan wasn’t an airgun deer state I probably wouldn’t be so into them. AAA is coming out with a .22 EVOL “HP” (high power). It’s an updated version of what I shot in CA last spring. 60 fpe and shoots slugs like you wouldn’t believe. There might be a MUCH more powerful .22 in the works, but no details yet.

It’s a laminate wood stock (beech and..forgot) with a special coating. I talked to the one guy who’s handled one besides Tom at AAA and he said it “feels awesome”. When I spoke with Tom, he was thrilled with how it turned out and that’s saying a LOT. 

If I am not mistaken, the stock is by Doug at MadDog Stocks. Fine stocks, light, stout, and a few nice innovations.

Yes - MadDog built, BUT it’s AAA’s design. Tom tweaked on that thing for months. Can’t wait to see it in American walnut!
