200 pounds Wild Boar vs FX Impact

I went to Argentina to try to take down a 200 pounds wild boar with Silver Surfer (highly powered FX Impact https://www.airgunnation.com/topic/meet-silver-surfer/ )
I was wondering if I could take down a wild boar, not a small farm hog (semi wild) a big bad MF! jajaja Wild European Boar with at least 200 pounds. Friends told me those are hard to take down, sometimes they need 2 or 3 shoots with firearms .308 + I went with my friend Gabriel in Argentina, and the first night I saw LIVE (I was recording) how tough they are with a direct hit with a 308 firearm:

I start having seconds thoughts.

Will SilverSurfer put down a 200pound Wild Boar? . Check the video and you will see.

Airgun: SilverSurfer (Impact MK2 modified for high power)
Distance: 50m
Scope: Vortex GoldenEagle @ 24x
Slug: 0,30 cal 62gn VarmintKnocker
Speed: 950 fps
Barrel: Tj 0,30
Place: Argentina (Near Cordoba)
NightV: Pard nv007

I could not aim to the exact place I want since I use the wrong scope (too much magnification) and a pole was in the way, but still was a good shot.

Special thanks to
Gabriel (Argentina) Without him nothing of this will be possible
Dale – Varmintknockers: Amazing Slugs!!
PCP Morales: Probably one of the best repair and custom pieces in Chile, he made barrel shroud and plenum exactly as I specified.
JM Supresores: as soon as I arrive to Argentina he give me a brand new suppressor https://www.instagram.com/p/B21vPOIhQtW and use it in that shot!

You!: Yes you guys, your support and sharing make me want to tell the story.

10 minutes after that shot (good moooooorning Argentina!)

HI Edosan first off I want to say I also shot one of them 250 pound pigs and they are tough

I used a .270 Winchester which has like

I see you said they shoot them with .338 lapua wow that has like 5150fpe or like 7000joules very powerful .

I see you used a 62 gr slug great placement he didnt run , I do shoot coyotes here with pcp slugs but I dont know if I would try a pcp either , I almost went last year but at last minute my friend had backed out and I didnt want to go alone ,

I hope to try it too , My strongest small bore pcp shoots my 85 grain slugs 990fps or about 190fpe ,Id love to try this one

well glad you got to go hunting and got one YAY
