2” Plenum Extension - FX Dreamline

Oh so that’s the kit with the regulator already as a part of it. I thought you just purchased the extension tube cause you already had a Huma reg in place.

This weekend i may depressurize my gun, install the prototype and run some tests. Stay tuned.

Since your results will mainly pertain to the Wildcat, it may merit its own topic... I bet there are Wildcat owners that would be interested but would be less likely to find it in a Dreampup forum.

Awesome tuning JoeKool !

Do you know if the Dreamline Power Plenum from FX can be used on a the Streamline too? I assume that the air tube of the DL and SL have the same diameter/same thread.

I'm not to keen on using the internal power plenum from Huma on my SL because it will obviously reduce the volume of the unregulated portion of the air tube.

My goal is to increase the shot count for the same level of accuracy as what I'v got today when shooting the JSB 18gr at ~915 fps with the Huma reg set at 125 bar.

Thank you Stephfx,

The DL plenum should fit the Streamline block and air cylinder. Your tuning plans for your Streamline sound logical and will probably work out great.

Happy air gunning & good luck! 🍀

Hi, thanks for the info. Is that a 600mm barrel or bigger? I just bought a MkIII sniper which has a 700mm and I'm trying to figure out how much room I have to work with between the end of the tank and the moderator. Do you know of any reason why all of what you did won't work on a MkIII? I know FX says that they have added plenum space, but I'm curious if adding more will improve things more. Also, was thinking of adding a tank extension for more cc or air in the tank.

A before and after pic.

Hi. I have a Dream-pup in .25 cal whit a 600mm barrel so I I'm wondering where you bought your 290cc air tube?

Do you have a link from where you bought yours???

Super-duper late reply, I ordered if from FXUSA. Just saw this comment today, lol!

No problem 🙂

I have managed to order the air cylinder from Huma but thanks for your reply

Very welcome sir!👌🏽

Great job Joe that's thinking outside the box and making it work and some great accuracy too.

Thx Bowhunter73, this thread is old but I have refined the .22 DreamPup’s tune and power mods to perfection. She’s one of my best .22 PCP’s hands down. Amazing with 23 grain NSA slugs, .22 cal 25.39g redesigned, 18.13g JSB’s, and H&N 17.90g Sniper Magnums. Now equipped with the 600mm STX Superior Standard barrel/liner. Just about anything of quality that I load, this bull-pup can shoot! What a lead gut!!
