1st Problem with Wildcat Compact

I've had mine apart a couple times.... any clue where it's leaking yet? Reg vent, fill port, through the barrel (which would be something in the valve) ?? These are the most common in my experience but then again, I've not had a WC leak (YET), still the same culprits though.

Both times mine leaked at the valve stem nut. There is a little tiny o'ring in there about the size of this 0. First time I cleaned it and it worked for about 2 days. Second time apart I replaced the o'ring and it has been good ever since.

The valve stem nut is that nut you see between the barrel shroud and the air tank. It looks like it screws into the breech.

Crusher... I have a WC in front of me and can't figure out what/where "is that nut you see between the barrel shroud and the air tank" I know the nut behind the trigger but he's not leaking at the moment (maybe later). I'm curious. Or are you thinking Impact?

How about this? The pencil lead is touching the place I think it is leaking for me. But it is actually coming out the end the nut where there is a hole. Behind this nut is the valve stem. It has a tiny washer and a small flat washer. Check behind the washer. There is another tiny o'ring and that was the leak for me.

It's a 2,5x1,5 NBR90 oring that does the sealing there.

Thats what my parts sheets says size wise. But it says buna 70, not 90. But we still don't know if this is where his gun is leaking.

My mistake. You are correct sir! 90 buna it is. My old eyes aren't what they used to be . LOL
