.177 slugs in a Springer

They don't and if it did the recoil would more than likely be horrendous. Most slugs need a decent power plant to be effective. I am pushing 890 fps with the 32 gr nsa aligs out of a 25 caliber gauntlet and that is barely at limit for solid results.

I have given out approximately 6000-7000 .1775 15 grain flat base, 3/4 ogive, hollowpoints within the last 2-3 months, along with my contact information, for people to test and try.
The general consensus was that almost all PCP choked barrels do not like them, except for one or two.
If you have a 1720 T Crosman PCP Pistol, they shoot with phenomenal accuracy, even at long distances.
The shocker that I got, was there were about 4-5 people that shot them out of 14 ft.lb + springers, and informed me that the accuracy was excellent. This is something I would not, and did not expect. Goes to show, every barrel and setup is different, no telling what might work, and what won't.

I was one of those who shot them out of my hw95 with a vortek kit. Good accuracy at 25 yards.

I use H&N Grizzlies 31 gain in my MOD 135 Vortex QE .25 caliber. They are deadly at 20 to 40 yards.
