.177 KO 13.4 gr slugs for FT

Centercut - that is some great shooting! You have me curious... Would these slugs work in a choked poly barrel, or would they be too tight / lose too much energy?

Yes, they would. They work in my .177 HP Delta Wolf, which has a Polygonal Choked barrel... I shoot them at 935 FPS, so not sure if they are accurate in a poly barrel at slower FT type speeds... In actuality, they only slow down by 10 FPS compared to the same weight pellets, the 13.4 RD Monsters.

OOOOOHHHH that sound pretty good! I might have to check these out. I was curious if you had to up the power in order to maintain the energy compared to the pellets. The fact that they only slowed down 10fps is fantastic! I would be using these for hunter class FT, so would be shooting them right around 800fps. Hopefully that's not too slow and they are still accurate. I look forward to getting some and giving them a try!

One more question to those who have used these slugs - do they have a tendency to lead up the choke more so than pellets?

@green_yamo -- I've yet to see a drop in accuracy with mine out of that RTI. If / when I do I recon I'll clean the barrel - but so far - pigeons keep falling off of roofs and silos.
