.177 Brocock Bantam, 52 yard groups, various pellets and speeds

Shot various groups today with my .177 Brocock Bantam at 52 yards, no wind. It became apparent that as I lowered the velocity, the groups tightened up. I'd like to get the JSB Heavy 10.3 gr. down to 885 to 890 fps, and I think the group size will shrink to dime size. Unfortunately, the Bantam does not have an HST adjustment, just the speed knob on the side with High, Medium, and Low. I didn't use low since it drops the speed over 140 fps from High. The groups were the JSB Exact Heavy 10.34, the JSB "old" Monster 13.4, and the H&N Barracuda 10.65. See five shot groups below. Velocity was with the speed adjust on High and them Medium for each pellet. Best groups were the JSB Heavy and H&N Barracuda om Medium, pretty much the same spread.

Actually, it is easy to adjust. Remove the stock screw throughthe grip. On the bottom of the rifle is a screw that holds the hammer spring endcap. On the left side is a cutout where you can see the hammer. It has 2 screws showing. The rear one keeps the hammer in place. Loosen the front one, put an allen wrench through the back into the hammer and adjust the striker. In for heigher. Out for lower. It adjusts the striker just like it does in the Marauder. There was a long thread on Airgun Warier recently that shows pictures. But I can't find it.
