.177 barrel on a TalonP?

I've currently got my TalonP set up to shoot 25.4's at around 800 fps with a 3000 psi fill and getting around 50 shots with a 22 cu in tank. I know tank dump is an issue with .177 barrels in high flow valves, just wondered if it's still likely with this reduced power setup if I changed out the .25 barrel for a .177. I've got an extra .25 barrel and was thinking of trying to tradei it for a .177. I'm supposing I'd be near 900 fps with 16.2 pellets as it's currently setup.

BTW, I'm not interested in buying another tank and I don't want to change out the valve spring, I'd like to be able to switch out barrels without changing anything else if possible.

@h2okenny i would contact Tony @ Talon tunes and get the quick change top hat .

No, it's the older style. I ordered the TT top hat a little while ago. Tony said it should work find with the smaller insert.

I've got a Talon with a 12" barrel, I thought, if anyone was interested, I'd trade the extra .25 barrel I have for a .177 and be able to shoot all three calibers. I'd like to set up a .177 to shoot 16.2 pellets or maybe try some slugs, if not, might try trading for another .22. I definitely don't need two .25 barrels. I just didn't want to invest any more money into it. I've been interested in trying the TT top hat anyway. Stupid me, I sold a .177 barrel several months ago.
