17 Cal Slugs hit the High Speed Press

We have started our production for the 17 caliber slugs. These have been tested in LW barrels which is most of the market for 17 caliber. We are starting with 12.5 and 15.0 grains. These are a hollow point and a dish base. They are slightly different than what we were making by hand and we now have a light 12.5 grain which was not possible with our other configuration.

If you have not shot 17 cal slugs - they are a lot of fun. I shoot them in my Edgun and they have been tested in LW choked blanks in custom guns as well as Daystate standard 17 cal barrels. Daystate we would recommend 12.5 grain for best accuracy. We may do heavier weights but this is what we are starting with. Our hand made 17 cal slugs are no longer offered.

400 slugs per box. $18.99 per box.

These should be available September 1st.

Mr. Nielson,

You have contributed so much to the airgun industry.

Your beautifully made slugs continue to open doors to

airgun enthusiasts like myself, who seek to maximize the

hunting capabilities of all my airgun products. Thank you

so much for the varying weights and sizes that allow one

to replace average pellets with hollow points at the same weight

or lighter! I already got some 43.8 grain .30's, for the .30 cal

I'm waiting on. Be well. - Ethan G.

We made the 12.5 grain over the weekend and making 15.0 grain now. We will turn on our sales at the end of the day or tomorrow.

Glad to see you guys excited about these little slugs. We don't expect 17 cal to be a huge seller but it should be really fun for those who enjoy shooting the smaller calibers like I do.

BTW for you 20 cal guys, we expect 20 tooling in around 6 weeks from now :), I will be sending those to Motorhead for testing which is the guy who has pushed me the most to make them.

Great news!!!!!

I've got a proven excellent .20 barrel and a clever (I think so anyway) plan to have a sweet .20 PCP. I'll be buying some of your .20 slugs when available.
