16 gr hp .177 slugs at 150 yards

Daystate Red Wolf .177 HP 😃❤️

Out at my private range yesterday after work to get in a little practice for EBR 9.5 2020 🌞🎯😊

Great weather and quite calm - just a little wind 👍

Ended my session with some long distance shooting with my 16 gr hp slugs 🎯😃

16 gr hp slugs at 1025 FPS - 37.34 FPE 💪😊

Pushed them out to 150 yards for the very first time and they did perform very well 😃

Still 19.18 FPE left at 150 yards ! 💪😎

Very, very cool shooting, Soren. Congrats!

.177cal at 150 yards. Our airgun forefathers might have dreamt about doing something as cool as that -- but only in their most outrageous, off-the-wall, psychedelic dreams!!

What an exciting time to be an airgunner!

Hi Matthias 😃

It is awesome that .177 can perform like this 💪

My plan is to shoot a beer can at 200 meters / 220 yards ! Should be a lot of fun 😂

150 yards??!!! This kind of amazes me. 25 or so years ago I took my .177 HW77 to the range and was shooting it at 50 yards. I was getting 1.5 to 2 inch groups. A gentleman came over and asked if he could look through my spotting scope. He walked away mumbling to himself, "A pellet gun at 50 yards, damn!" I tried it at 100 yards, but all I could do was keep them on the paper. They dropped about 2 1/2 feet.

I guess that things have changed a bit in the last 25 years.
