    I wanted to move the fulcrum of the bipod forward on my impact, I know there are really  nice  after market accessory conversions But being a cheap skate I made one form parts sourced on flea bay.

     

    $5 for the long weaver rail, $10 on the quick release weaver to weaver extension, plus a bit of time with a hacksaw and file and I made this.

     


     

     

    also, being a cheap skate, I bought a atlas clone for $15 to bolt onto it.

    Heck yea! right up my alley. Did you have to add any cushions or spacers for any flexing. It appears there is something between the bottle and the rail.

    Yes, there are a couple of delrin bushes that act as packers, to be fair it’s pretty stif without them, rock solid with.

    Great job!  Maintained the factory look, does not look like homemade at all.  I think I will copy it for my setup!   :)
