Bought these for rimfire shooting along with MSA Sordins.. While Sordins are expectedly very good, also these seem to do fine job!
Sordins = 180 + 35 for the gel ear pieces
Aculite = 14 to 21$
Just tested shooting 2 barrel cleaners from .25 Wildcat in a concrete room 5x5m, and the sound I heard was the a little quieter and what shooting Wildcat without a pellet sounds like.
Just shooting a cleaner outside gives me short tinnitus and was really counting on these when testing them inside!
(And I am not stupid, I had beforehand tested they work at some level by clapping my hands loud)
You can hear like 60% of the normal sounds with these on so talking and everything is doable, they only cut out loud sounds using some mechanical mechanism (Magic?)
I bought these as a back-up for Sordins in case I forget them or if I need to lend them to someone.
Below the picture of them, I have myself put 2 silica bags to keep them dry.
