They will probably get a refurbished in at some point. Put your name on the waiting list. My 135 is a refurbished.
I think the refurbs are the way to go. They have been inspected. Tightened new seal, sighted and shot and Chrono.
You might check the torpedo series of rifles they make.

For a .25 cal? I highly recommend the Hatsan 130 if you are up for the 28 or so fpe. Just remember its for hitting big targets. Don't expect dime sized groups.
Hatsan has several models available in .25 cal. For something easier to shoot, the 95 is also highly recommended.
Otherwise, BSA has some .25 cal springers and Weihrauch has a few too.

The 125 .25 is also a great choice. He wants a underleaver there are very few options. My 125 average is right around 815 fps.
