I have two bug busters a 3x9 and a 3x12 side focus . They have about 2 1/2 “ of eye relief from the end of the scope and about 3 1/4” from lens . Theyhold zero very good.

The optical quality of the glass could be better, but you don’t get much for a hundred dollars now days.

I would like to try the Discovery 3-12x44 FFP. It is only 10” long and has bigger objective lens to gather more light. I like FFP scopes but no lighted recticle if that is important to you. Personally I like them.

While it is a compact optic, one aspect I do not like is the short area available to mount your rings. On this 2400kt I have used narrow BKL rings and you will notice the front ring is moved forward until nearly touching the bell and yet the scope needs to move an inch or more rearward to be comfortable. Cantilever rings or maybe a single double clamp ring on the front would be a option or better yet a scope with a longer tube,.It is not a problem on this gun as I only use it when mouse fart stealth mode is required. Forgive the crappy photos .

That's sweet ! 👍

i'm about to find out , fishin wrench....i just traded a guy for a bug buster (he had it on a .177 hatsan 65, so i traded him a 4-16x40ao air attack).... i'm gonna put it on my black 1322 and put a shoulder stock on it....probably just temporary , tho. seems co2 is a better way to go (more power) if temperature is over 65-70 degrees... - raneman .

I have had a few of these. I like to use the older Bug Buster 3-9x32 with the forward AO. But I believe the sidwheel version is the same dimensions. I use LOW profile rings and end up with about a business card amount of clearance between the AO and barrel. I don't need to use a cheek comb/riser in this configuration. Unlike when the same scope is used on a PRod you need med height or taller to mount that same scope, then you have to use something to get your cheek up higher. ATI makes a riser piecre for a skelotelonized/folding SKS stock in the sub $20 range, just slips over the stock and is adjustable up, down to and fro. Like deke says not much to and fro adjustment, but I've used this setup on at least a dozen 13xxx. I think the little bug buster is the best scope out there for this little.gun what ever that is worth.

I would say the next size up the 4_12x44 with the 30mm tube is to much scope for that lil gun. I put one on one of mine thats set up with a 24" barrel to get a feel for it, just throws the balance way off. I felt the same putting a full length scope even with a 1" light tube on my shorter barreled guns felt just as unbalanced

I have much love for the 13xxx and the little bug buster, and have used that combo to slaughter millions of starlings, or at least enough I stopped counting long ago

I have a BugBuster 3-9x32 on my 2400KT. I think this is a good combo. I couldn’t decide on the Williams peep sight or the BigBuster so I did both. I I have see through rings and a Williams peep sight installed under the BugBuster. It does work but only issue is the scope is a bite high for the stock. I do find the eye relief to be a little short because I find myself crawling up the stock to get the eye relief I need. This is due partly because the Williams sight prevents me from mounting the scope a little further back. This is just a fun backyard plinker at 15-20 yards max so I get what I want out of it and can at least hit what I’m aiming at.
