11mm to Picatinny Rail Adapter - Has anyone used these? (photo)

I went to Cabela's yesterday to get some high dovetail rings and ended up with these instead. The medium dovetails I ordered with the rifle allowed the AO ring to touch the barrel shroud.

Here are the parts you get.

Some measurements of the rails. 9/16in high by 7/8in long.

Installed on the rifle and a measurement of the 9/16in added height.

Scope installed.

It is a bit high with the weaver rings that came with the scope. With careful installation and torquing you'll be able to get these mount adapters centered. Next time I get by the local store I'll be looking for either some high dovetail or low weaver rings.

Ted, I've got an extra set. Shoot me a PM and I'll send them to you to try out.
I use them and find them to be quick and easy. I originally got them to do the "Rolaids" sling install on my Bobcat and then later to use my picatinny rings to decide what height dovetail rings I wanted to buy. Then I guess I never got around to buying the dovetail rings.

Jps2486 I totaly agree! Sure the strength is only needed on springers and not pcp's but just for the sake of interchangeability. Some things are just very slow to change I guess.

I have looked at those adapers Ted and read lots of reviews but but they just don't seem like the most secure mounts. Its like 30 mm scope mounts with adapters for 1 inch scopes.

Hi, so jumping in on a slightly old post here, but oh well.
It's been over a year ago now since I got my Evanix WCII, but I remember trying to find the best adapters so I could use some higher quality rings too. I was also trying to find the best setup that would put my huge 56mm obj. scope as low as I could possibly get it.
Well what I finally discovered is this: on my WC breech block, and the picture above of what I think is a wildcat, there are two levels of dovetail cuts. The top one is the 11mm air rifle 'standard'. I forget what I measured the lower one at, but I found that the Warne rings that split vertically, fit perfectly on that lower, wider dovetail. I did of course have to leave out the recoil lug that is meant for use on picatinny/weaver ring mounts for a centerfire rifle. But on a PCP that was not a problem.
Here's a picture that hopefully helps describe what I tried to type out!

Dovetail (11mm approx) to Picatinny adaptors are fairly rare but as all the above are talking about two-part mounts/adaptors 'Picatinny' is NOT the correct description for the desired outcome - Weaver would do (it's all in the very exacting Military spec of Picatinny).

I put a post up about the very lowest* Dovetail to Weaver adaptors available & which I use, in the Other Parts section below.

*In ten odd years of looking I have never found any lower.

Ted don't be afraid....lol I have them on two rifles with zero issues. Camp Fussell also has them on several of his guns without any problems. Actually a very good value for the money and a problem solver keeping the scope height low. Just need to make sure they are centered properly into the grooves. I have not needed to flip/oppose them to keep the scope parallel to the bore myself but could see this being necessary as some scope rings need to be opposed to center the scope.
