Dan, do you have a place to shoot inside? If I shot outside in the cold and wind off hand, I wouldn't even hit the bucket!

Lol, yeah, I have a 10 yard indoor range.  I'm just itching to get out in the bush and hunt rabbit or prairie dogs.  I know where a prairie dog town is, I just gotta work out either how to get close or how to attract them and get them close to me.  Gonna try bacon!

Btw,  that's a taped over Folgers coffee can…the big one…3 pounder.

Here's my  entry for this match. I really went down on this one.

    163 + 164 = 327

Had 1 better target this round. 194+192=386   The 194 was shot with 2 different pellets, half JSB and half wad cutters.  The JSB punch a smaller hole, but I use a scoring gauge plug to check.  I went back after downloading the pics and rechecked cause a couple looked like 9’s, but they touch the dot with the gauge.

Clearly a product of a WHOLE LOT of practice Greg. Those targets are great just to look at!

Marty,  don't feel bad.  I'm still trying to break 100.  I got close with a practice sheet…97.  Only 3 zeroes, which have consistently gone down.  It's nice to see improvements,  at least!

Very nice shooting , Greg.  I couldn't do that good sitting and using my bench rest!

One thing that that has really helped me as I start to get the sense of it is to really tuck the elbow of the off hand arm into the waist so it sits on top of the hip bone. So that the weight of the rifle goes down in a straight line through the arm, hip and leg into the ground. This way the skeletal system is taking the weight and not the muscles and therefore (at least in theory!) less movement and shaking whilst (gotta love the Brits) on the aim.

    Good shooting everyone.

I see that some have different dates on their target cards. Can you use cards that you shot on different days? The reason I ask is because I shoot both cards consecutively for my submissions. At my age I can usually get a decent (for me that is) score on my first target but I run out of steam for the second one. If you can submit cards from different shooting sessions that would help my scores, hopefully🙂

    Hi Marty,

You can use cards from different days and you can shoot as many cards as you can.
