Very nice shooting! I'm just starting to learn about slugs so.217 means that your Crown is a .22, correct? The .25 JSB KO's are back ordered so I won't have any to try shooting in my MK2 crown for almost 3 weeks according to Pyramid Air. I just started getting back to 100 yard shooting but will have to settle for trying domed pellets at that range for now.

The one thing I am not a fan of on the original crown stock is that you can not access the fine adjustment on the hammer spring without taking the stock off or I suppose possibly cutting a hole in it. Your pics just made me realize the Saber Tactical stock allows for access. Way to go, your pics may have just cost me a bunch of money 😁

**EDIT** Whoa! Just checked, $600 for a Saber Tactical! Looks like I'm going to keep taking my stock off, oh why couldn't FX just build a factory access hole in the stock?

Thanks, Mike!

Cliff,

Pellets are plenty good enough for 100 yard shooting! Slugs make it EASIER to shoot tighter groups with less hold-off at longer ranges when it's windy. Btw, the Saber Tactical stock LOOKS like you can access the pretension screw, but you can't:( That's one of the few things I don't like about it. Also, it takes a quite a bit more to get it out of the Saber than just undoing the 2 screws holding a regular stock on.

Thank you for the info, that makes me feel better, like I didn't make the wrong decision!
