$1000 Compressor

i can only say what i have bought my first one was $1000 from Modair and it broke over 12 times wiring ,, cooling system , melting switches piston rings , leaks , itwas a mess .My friend told me If you want a commercial unit which is rugged , you wont have to keep fixing it or running to scuba shop, Airtex 45 , so I got one 2 years ago I run it probably 10 times a week filling guns or tanks and it never failed me , it fills a 90cuin tank in 4 to 5 minutes and a gun in seconds . The filtration system and all parts are quality nothing cheap on it but it is over $1000 , I got mine on sale $500 off ,I do not know aobut the new ones which just came out , I think only time will tell LOU

here is pic of both units

Airtex 45 GOOD

Last I heard the Airetex class of compressors were selling just under $3000 but that could be wrong. Seems that the Nuvair compressors I've looked at are also just under $3000 without shipping. Lots of difference in $1000 and $3000. But those higher cost compressors would almost certainly last longer, fill faster, and have more resale value. Different strokes.
