0db Moderator

I actually tested one scientifically against pretty much all the common moderator brands. It did quite well, although once you factor in length, mass, and volume I'd say its performance was about on par with the best of the other industry designs out there. This shouldn't come as a big surprise though, as internally the design is basically the same as everyone else's like Donny, Huggett, Clague, etc. That is to say two or three flat internal dividers/sections and a wrap of felt of some kind. They all assemble a little differently, the 0dB looked like it was a couple machined pieces where the felt separator and dividers were integral, but not a monocore. The Huggett was all separate pieces aligned by the primary tube and very carefully machined by the look of it. And the Donny does it via a clever monocore which reduces the need for tight tolerances across multiple parts as it is all innately aligned. They all look and perform about the same and seem to operate on the same principles.

I hope that helps answer your question. :)
