Thanks Bob, that article was interesting to write..... I had been hunting in California for three days, my host Glenn Elliot had dropped me at the airport midday for the flight home. While grabbing lunch in the terminal the phone rang and it was the editor of Whitetail Journal asking if I'd be interested in doing an article on turkey hunting with an airgun. I wrote the article on the plane between Stockton and Salt Lake City, editied it at the airport in SLC, proofed it on the plane between SLC and Minneapolis, and uploaded it to Dropbox for the editor before landing in MSP. Been writing a lot on airplanes lately, but that was the first time it went from offer to submission before I deplaned..... that turkey hunt was great.... people have a lot of negative things to say about California: but it's beautiful, excellent airgun hunting regulations, and lots of game. Glenn was a great host, I enjoyed the trip a lot!
