Zues carbine gets a new make over...

I've had this carbine for about 6 months now and it has served me well for the roll as hunting rig. There are so for 2 things I didn’t like but these were fixable. First the check rest isn't high enough which was easily remedied by using a riser pad. Second is the wood on this gun is very soft in my opinion. After some normal handling I noticed some impressions in the wood, then I notice some bubbles in a clear coat on the wood. Easily fixed for me. It's worthy as it has put down 2 deer this year with authority

what weight slugs are you shooting, and how fast do they shoot?

i've seen you take a few deer with that thing only fitting you give it a nice makeover!

Currently shooting Mr Hollowpoint 530gr. Haven’t ran it through the chrony yet. I’m thinking I’ll get around to it when the weather starts to warm up.

If our hunting regulations were open to hunting big game with air guns . This would be my first choice . Nice looking rig.
