Zoraki or Air Venturi V10 ?

Winter is coming!

I'm looking at doing more indoor shooting this year as things cool off and and wanting to add a little more accuracy to my pistol shooting.

These seem to be the 2 on my rung of the financial ladder and being as I'm not looking to break the bank and they're roughly the same price these are my two picks so far.

I'm looking for real suggestions and recommendations from people who are familiar with these guns and perhaps a candidate that I've missed.

I'm not looking at PCP's at this time just something I can grab and go.

Thanks.

Don't have a V10 but have all four of the Zoraki HP guns and I love them. It's nice to be able to shoot on one pump for shorter distances or two or three for greater distances or heavier pellets. They are all very accurate guns. The Zoraki has excellent trigger and is a quite a bit more powerful than the V10 if that means anything. It is also a bit more bulky and weighs in at 2.4lbs the v10 is 1.95

They both look like pretty decent guns for the money.

Right now it's a toss up, I'm mostly going to be using it inside at 10 meters so I don't necessarily need extra power but.....

I also have several Alecto pistols (all .177 standard length) and like them a lot. No experience with the V10 but it should do just as well for dedicated indoor shooting. The Alecto (Zoraki) would have a distinct performance advantage for outdoor shooting and should provide accuracy to match the V10. As another possible option, a P17 is very affordable and will give you an indication of the performance level of the V10 as they are pretty similar in that regard, and the P17 is often veiwed as a very accurate short range pistol. Like many things, relative to YOUR wants.

I have the P17, it's a good accurate pistol. I'm just not enamored with that fiber optic sight and am hoping for something a little more refined.

I have had 2 p17's, and still own an alecto ultra in .177 and a weihrauch hw75. The hw75 has the best fit, finish, feel, and trigger. It also has more metal parts and is more expensive, of course. The hw75 is one pump only, but the alecto/zoraki can be pumped 3 times for hunting power.

To meet your goal of indoor accurate target practice, I would choose the hw75 for thr super crisp trigger. It has a hammer that you must pull pack after pumping, with a light, single stage trigger.

No experience with the V 1o but have a HW 75 which is similar, extremely accruate, and has a 1911 type hammer so can be dry fired easily without any cocking effort . Takes a bit effort to cock to fire a pellet, not bad. Extremely accurate. I have a Zoraki, the later version that can be pumped up to 4 times, which takes more effort than I care for, Again very accurate. The triggers on the Zoraki has more adjustments than the HW, fore-aft for length of pull, swings left to right and pivots around the post so it can fit the pad of trigger finger exactly, the HW lacks this feature. Adjustable sights on both, the Zoraki has the flip up front so can be short or longer range with a flip of that sight. The Zoraki is obviously capable of far more power. Overall feel in the hand the HW is better, I chose it over the HW 45 to get away from a spring air type and go totally recoiless, but still may get one because it does have the capability to cock to two positions, limiting power and cocking effort. Had I know about the V10 I probably would have gone that route over the HW 75. due to similarity and price difference.

Since you are familiar with the power level, and considering your descriptions, I'd suggest the V10 (even though I don't have one). The Zoraki advantages probably wouldn't benefit your situation as described and the V10 is easier to get.
