Snowpeak Zelos / M60 Compact roll call

I’ve been kinda in the market for a……looking for a not offensive term……ok, kinda good gun. Considered one of those Pinty things but just not into potato guns. Saw a used Zelos compact and because of all the guys swooning over it and the M60, I figured what the heck. I have spent many hours with it addressing the things that bother me about these type of guns. All I think I have left is the trigger and I’m done. Was going to start a topic but if there aren’t many compacts out there, I’m not wasting my time.

I have one of them Pinty bull pups. I think it was around $240 with a coupon
from here somewhere. It’s a real nice gun, of course especially with the price.

Potato gun. Almost tried one. Glad I didn’t.

I had to put as much work into this Snowpeak as I did back in 2017-2018 with those Snowpeaks to be happy with it. But…their build and overall fit quality has improved. The only thing left that bothers me is the seat in the reg. While doing a reg overhaul, the seat appears quite soft. Or someone played with it under pressure. These things are pretty popular so hopefully Huma will make a reg for it.

It’s so confident in itself now that it bravely parked in the executive parking lot. Well, the black aluminum parking lot. The guns with nice wood get to park in the garage.

I bought mine from Wes last year when all he had in stock was a couple of .177's. I wanted a .22, but settled on a .177 with the thought that I would convert it to .22 someday. I like it after I worked out some of the bugs.
