Umarex Zelos Bottle Conversion

Finally got around to putting the bottle on my Zelos .22

Was waiting for a long time on my Huben Power bottle reg. Once it finally came in, I threw on the bottle which had been waiting. I wanted to be able to do a 4,500 psi for shot count, which is why I opted for the Huben over the other adapters.

I was waiting to make a decision on which bottle clamp to use. Eventually decided to try the Heartland Airguns trigger gaurd with picatinny rail extension instead. I'm really glad I did. I reached out to them before buying it asking if it cleared the huben reg and fill gauge. They responded with and honest answer that they dont know as they haven't tested with that bottle reg. I decided I'd be the guinea pig. I'm happy to say it fits great and has no issues with clearance, not matter how the bottle reg is clocked. Feels very sturdy on the bipod, I haven't tested it yet on the tripod with a arca rail adapter.

Very happy with the final outcome for the price so far, still need to test the new shot count with same Zelos reg and hammer settings, currently shooting JT's Dead Center 21 grain at 895-900. Getting just shy of 2 mags before it starts falling off a bit, but POI is still there within 40 yards and doesn't shift much for the full 2 mags, before the bottle addition. Will post the shot count results for the bottle at 4,500psi when I get a chance. Attqched are some before and after pictures.

Nice job, looks much better. Having a 4500 psi fill pressure should be standard on all bottled airguns. The bottles are rated for 4500psi/310bar, you should be able to fill them to 4500psi. Great product/ idea from huben, reducing the fill pressure down to operating pressure.

Heartland makes some good additions. The double magazine for Zelos/M60b/Max 1 is excellent.

I've actually got 2. One still filled with air, the other just needs an oring for the factory gauge
I’m interested in possibly both. Can you pm me? I’m new to AGN and don’t have enough post yet.

Side note…how do you like that DNT Zulus? I have been thinking about picking up a 3-12X but have not been able to check one out in person yet.

I'm not going to go outside of the normal guidline rules for the forum. No disrespect to you, but PM me when you meet the requirements. I don't have plans of posting them so they'll be around.

Basically the same rules as opening up the classifieds section. About the DNT Zulus tho, I really like it. Sold my SightMark Wraith after just 2 weeks of having the Zulus. Was originally looking at the 3-12x but got a good deal through classifieds for a 5-20x. Mines a V1 non LRF

So far I’m pretty set on getting one. Don’t know if DNT ever does sales or not so I might wait it out a couple holidays or see if one pops up in the classified’s.

That EVOL you have looks awesome!! Your post is the first one I’ve see. Does the velos even compare to it?

Sorry for all the questions, like I said I’m very new to air guns and have fell down the rabbit hole!

The Zelos is a great gun for the price. Definitely outdoes some other guns that are quite a lot more expensive. However the Evol Mini has been great, it's quickly becoming one of my favorite off hand shooters, plus the thing is durable and can take a beating. Not a beauty queen I'm nervous about messing the stock up on, like my Lelya.
