That is the scope I have on my FX Mav.
I do not shoot HFT, so cannot comment as to its suitability other than it is a heavy scope, not something I would want on top of a freehand held rifle. I would rather go for a fixed power 10x or 12x, maybe a 16x,

typically my guns are silly light,,,, that said i can afford a heavier scope provided it doesn't change the balance point to too top heavy

Have you tried a athlon helos? Im using the 6-24x56 and like it better than the argos so far little sharper and brighter with the 34 mm tube

The V4 parallaxes to 10 meters, distances however do not “snap” into focus, hence IMHO it is useless for FT
