Thank you for your concern folks.
Yes I'm fine , for one in his 82nd yr. My wonderful wife has some issues but nothing we can't handle.
We are presently at the farm harvesting the early lavender and I am culling more rabbits with the FX Crown .25 in late afternoons - it's summer here. Yesterday and this afternoon I picked up 18 bunnies. Longest shot 113 yd. T,he Crown has shot over 400 rabbits now this year on our place and three other properties. I only shoot in daylight for safety reasons around cattle and sheep. The rifle has had no problems and never throws a "flier" (though I do some times) . I did do Winchester's reg washer rearrangement earlier in the year. It runs at 850 fps with 33.9 gr heavies tuned for a reg pressure of approx 135 bar. Also the Labradar still functions perfectly and has been a great asset in my experiments which are ongoing though I don't get to share them so much these days. Time is our enemy.
One bit of news today .
Chris Thomas ( who shot the first three sub inch 100 yd 5 shot groups back in June 2002 with an FX .22 Rapier) sent me a 10 shot 100 yd group that I measure at 0.504 inches ctc. He shot it with his Theoben Rapid .25 cal and 25.4 gr Kings. The Rapid has no regulator. Martin would have had a hand in making that rifle. It is the forerunner of his RAW rifles
Take care and I wish you all and Michael a Happy Christmas.
Best regards, Harry.
