YouTube still up to something?

Saw this when I went to youtube about an hour ago. Makes me wonder if videos/surveys like this go to anti-gun/hunting types.

If you all get this type of survey on gun vids, be sure to give them a positive rating.

curious, i have not seen this yet, anywhere. but i am subscribed to this and many other shooting channels. maybe it goes to people not yet subscribed.

Makes me wonder what YouTube would do to a channel if it's videos got enough low-star ratings.

Ohh boy, that's scary! Did you see the options you have if you select one star?

Maybe Matt channel is triggering a sort of alert but it's not enough for a computer to decide and they are collecting information from real people to help the algorithm.

You only get that message on videos you have watched yourself. In most cases you like videos that u look up yourself. I get that asked frequently on al videos that I watched, even the no hunting related video too. I don't think it has anything to do with YouTube "not liking" those videos"

If you read the fine print of the latest update it mentions an attempt to eliminate "click bait". In this case I think it means video's that are titled in a tricky, or misleading manner so as to simply generate clicks.

I have noticed that a few people that used to put out ground squirrel pesting videos haven't put a new video out in months.

There's several things likely going on - crowdsourcing feedback on video content quality (comparative data for their machine learning algos), polling viewer dimensions (liberal gun haters vs. the rest of the world), and likely data mining viewer sentiment for future policies and PR damage controls (for any strategic moves to outright ban all things gun related).

seeemss to me that you tube is polling NON shooters/hunters and most likely trying to gather the animal(!) lovers together to fillout this survey in order to accelerate the process of denying our videos.

When I get these I try to always hit the "skip" button when it is available so they can't mine anything from the survey one way or another.

I have never seen such a survey on youtube. I don't think it is normal and they are definiely up to something

Youtube has always been up to something. Matt already mentioned his videos are being demonetized. I even hear fishing channels tellings us they are unsure of their future as a channel. Most, if not all gun channels are being demonetized

I just go to the channels I really enjoy, like Matt's and just select "Play all" and just let it play all night I've seen the all a couple of times already so just playing them helps.
